Loneliness can damage health, triggering inflammation and neurological changes

When it comes to the four engagement areas used within the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, here is a good reason to make sure you remember to take action in the relationships (love) area of engagement. A quick overview of the four engagement areas are, relationships, work, play, and health. It’s more then just life-work balance and all four areas need to be addressed in order to maintain an overall high level of functioning.
